Coming in at #4 - Mountlake Terrors
The new name and soon headquarters has been a good charm for this team so far, but the question marks at running back continue from week to week. 5th overall Michael Turner is anything but consistent, undrafted free agent turned stud starter LaDainian Tomlinson supplanted third rounder Shonn Greene, and Michael Bush just came back to be a backup. The receiver corps is no powerhouse week in and week out, but Brandon Marshall will get his looks all year, Floyd will be forced into putting up stats with Vincent Jackson still holding out, and Hakeem Nicks has been a very pleasant surprise. The tight end duo is not scoring as highly as hoped for, but most aren't surprised with that fact. This may seem like a high ranking for a team that is 3-1 courtesy of facing both 0-4 teams back to back, but seven starters come in averaging within 0.4 points of double-digits or better than double-digit scoring every week... And well, it's me, and I love me some me.
Coming in at #3 - Hail to the Chefs
This squad ushered out the Aaron Rodgers era after just three weeks, and ushered in the MJD era with a bang in week 4. Steven Jackson and Legedu Naanee made room for Santana Moss and Rodger's replacement in Tony Romo, each of which took the week off more or less in Week 4. A resounding win last week caps a three week romp by this squad in which their lowest scoring output was 112.35. Improvement each week for this squad has been key to their success, and the early season quarterback tandem of Tony Romo and the unlikely star in Kyle Orton could see them in to a deep playoff run if all remains the same. They will face a tough division all season, so nothing is set in stone, but don't expect too much of a drop off in the coming weeks.
Top two tomorrow, stay tuned!
